Alexander Borowiec

Raised in Denville, New Jersey, and a graduate of Morristown Beard School, Alex has always been guided by discipline, leadership, and a strong commitment to community—values that shaped his athletic career and now define his approach to financial services.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and his MBA from Lebanon Valley College, where he served as captain of the hockey team. After playing a season of professional hockey, Alex transitioned into the financial services industry, dedicating his first year to earning industry-leading designations including CLU®, ChFC®, and RICP® to ensure he could provide clients with comprehensive and expert financial guidance.
For the past two years, Alex has worked alongside his father, Gary Borowiec, a principal of Madison and Main Advisors. Together, they serve multiple generations of families, and Alex is proud to continue those relationships with the next generation of the firm’s long-standing clients.
He specializes in helping young professionals establish a strong financial foundation through customized investment planning, life insurance strategies tailored to protect growing families, and comprehensive financial planning focused on long-term success. His mission is to be a lifelong partner in his clients’ financial lives.
Outside of his professional work, Alex remains connected to his passion for hockey by refereeing Division I college games—bringing the same integrity, focus, and discipline to the rink that he brings to every client relationship.
